RESCUED
In a recent paper, I read this excerpt from the obituary section: “Margaret, age 91, left this world and arrived at her true home. Margaret came to faith in Christ and was recused by his costly love at an early age…”What a testimony” …“recused by his costly love…”, explains what happens to us who are saved. We should stop and think about the “cost” of Christ’s love for us. He couldn’t leave us unrescued.
Depressed with stress?
If you rearrange the letters in “depression” you will get “I pressed on.”
Your current situation is not your final destination.
“Casting all your care on him for he careth for you.” 1 Peter 5:7
KEEP TRYING:
Thomas Edison, a man who held 1,093 U.S. patents, said, “I have not failed, but I’ve found 10,000 ways that won’t work.” No one is a failure who keeps trying to do the right thing. Job failed miserably, but in Job 2:4 he said, “I will look again toward thy holy temple…” Though he failed in the past, he got it right this time.
“I will look again toward thy holy temple…” Job 2:4
TWO EVENTS, 3 DAYS APART MADE ALL THE DIFFERENCE:
Christians have the best of both worlds, their past is covered, their future is secured. It all happened 3 days apart, 2000 years ago. On the cross our sins were forgiven, and at the resurrection our future was assured. Wow!
